We offer guided deep sea fishing trips from Shelly Beach Launch Site, running daily (weather permitting). Our trips are designed for everyone — whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced angler, or just looking for a fun and unique day out on the ocean.
What you can expect on a day on Riptide:
6–7 Hour Deep Sea Fishing
We launch early mornings and spend approximately 6–7 hours at sea, targeting both game fish and bottom species, depending on conditions and what’s biting that day.
Our experienced skipper uses a variety of fishing techniques including:
- Game fishing:
Trawling
Jigging
Popping
Chumming
- Bottom fishing
For group bookings, we can also accommodate special requests.

Many of our trips also offer incredible wildlife encounters — it’s common to see dolphins, turtles, sea birds, and whales, and during the famous Sardine Run, the ocean comes alive with spectacular marine activity.

We launch from Shelly Beach, centrally located on the Lower South Coast, just a short distance from the Shelly Centre, which offers shopping, restaurants, and entertainment for family members who prefer to stay on land.
